| "Half Notes" is a free music program for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. *50 minute class/once a week/14 week session (registration required) *Each child must be accompanied by a caregiver; siblings of any age welcome *Curriculum includes music, rhythm, movement and learning *Learn and sing traditional and original songs *Learn rhythm and tonal patterns *Introduction to various types of musical instruments and sounds *Follow an educational theme throughout the entire session *“Sing outside of the box” by creating unique pieces of music *Have the opportunity to “perform” throughout the semester *Learn to follow instruction and solicit ideas *“Free dance” and movement with the music *Hands on activities include puppets, props, and “kid” instruments |
